Very good deal on that SRAM groupo IMO, but if that's a stretch too far, Hope V-Twin system around R4500 plus shipping, and TRP Shifter/Caliper around R1700 plus shipping each from CRC.

Just depends how disappointed you are with your bikes braking performance I guess

Each time I do a search, Jagwire pops up. Wiggle and CRC are good bet. Locally? Who knows?

I had Jagwire on my Niner, which was crappy from day one.  Changed it to Shimano, I think the MX range, and they perform much better, especially the on the back brake.

I am satisfied with jagwire compressionless housing with my Veloce shifters and 160mm discs front and rear. Haven't ridden hydraulic, so cannot compare

Love my Spyres! The compression less housing makes a massive difference. Mechanical disks are brilliant if set up properly

Question to those who might have tried these products, was there any performance issues, and is the "Link" type much better than the regular type?: To be used with TRP Spyre Mechanical Disc brakes

The MTB pro kit uses metal cable end caps and a broad flat wound wire to create a compression-less housing.

The Links kit uses hundreds of alloy "links" in a ball and socket arrangement with a friction-less Teflon inner to create a compression-less housing. Looks more bling and might not fit through the frame cable guides.
