marko35s Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 As from the 1st of May Opening times for the trails have changed in line with SANParks official winter opening times.The trails will be open from 8am until 5pm each weekend.This change also includes the picnic spot where riders currently park which will be locked for the night at 5pm.

marko35s Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 Does this mean latest entry also moves back from 4 pm to 3 pm?I think the entry thing is pretty fluid as long as you are out on time.The last entry time that the gate staff try to enforce was, as far as I know, aimed at the braai area where they have trouble shifting guys that have just started a fire at ten to six...That said they will lock in any vehicle still there after closing time.

That said for a while now there has barely been a person in the park after 5pm.

(Deon) Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Is it summer times yet? It is indeed. From the 1st Sept, gates open an hour earlier from 7am and close an hour later at 7pm. Last entry is at 6pm..Â
