i was fedup with mine (replaced all bearings on bike and even went riding without seat post) and it ended up being a loose freehub body...

Thank you for your input. Will keep this in mind when taking it in today.

tighten your skewer as much as possible (after cleaning it and applying a thin layer of grease)

edit: that's what solved my problem

I would suggest removing pedals applying some grease to thread and reinstalling

Is your cassette torqued on properly ... remove, clean, apply some lube/grease, torque up and try again.

A bike making a noise is a ^%$#&$%*$^(^(*$%(%^(^%$%#$^&%&*@$&^%*!!!!!!

So I feel your pain and hope you get this sorted.

Hi all,

Please can you help me. I have replaced almost everything that can make a cracking noise like this but still it won't go away. Does someone maybe know the possible reasons for this sound in my video above.

I replaced the following already -

Sprocket

Rear Derailer

Chain

BB

You would really make my year if you can give me the solution because I don't know anymore.

Kind regards

Jaco

Had the same problem a year ago, only when standing to pedal

Have you checked your knees?

Is that a 2017 spark 940? If so its a design flaw as it seems to be common in the 940 2017 models...

The seatpost clamp is too tight. Loosen by half turn and try again

Wow, legitimate reason maybe as I have tighten it quite tight because it kept turning. Will try thank you.

In to the LBS for greese and TLC on all the small parts that needs it so hopefully this helps. Thank you.

Check for cracks in the frame!

You may need to strip the bike to do this.

Really hope this is not the reason. As this would spoil my weekends race :(

Replaced my skewer today as it keeps getting loose while riding so will see if that was the problem maybe. Thank you.
