DC or Origin of Trails, that is the question.

Noooooooooooooo!  Some of us with no social life do both, or at least used to...  This year the choice will be, am I a Roadie or am I a MTBiker.

Week before is the 94.7 and week after the Stellenbosch Cycle Tour - with the DC in the middle as it has always been so that is not changing anytime soon

So I say direct your fury at Stillwater who moved the Origin a week earlier... (Isn't the W2W also a week earlier this year?)

Yip, also noticed that.  No fury here...  Do not get mad, just disappointed. Will probably miss out on the Origin, and sure many others will make the same choice (with the DC being such a big and popular team event), and as you rightly said Skubarra, the DC date has not changed.  Still pity though, really enjoy the OoT, awesome event, awesome trails and was always a good way to get into the Dec vibe...  But, it is what it is...

If you can MTB and can start in an early batch then do it. If not do the DC.

The trails need a small bit of skill or ability to ride rocks. If you cant start in an early batch you are going to be waiting in a queue. Then rather do the DC.

OoT is an awesom route with proper MTB, much like Gravel and Grape.

Eish, both these rather popular Western Cape events are planned for the same week-end in 2017.  Both great events, and now we must choose to only do one in 2017.

I think the orange of Trials is the one to do...

Less people entering the DC

At the very least you can now chirp those mtb'ers at the DC that they showed up at the wrong race  ^_^

One of those is my boss, hear about their sub 6:30 on MTB weekly!

Does he come to work and do presentations by drawing on the walls with crayons, just so that he can say "I almost nailed that pitch, imagine how well I would have done if I had used PowerPoint."
