I see entry fee is plastered all over as $3000. Nowhere is mentioned what you get for your money. Any ideas?

An entry, a sore ass, and massive sense of achievement when you complete it.

Is there anything else you would want?

One can go for a ride anywhere, get a sore ass and get a sense of achievement without spending a cent (or very little anyway). But anyhow, enjoy!

Please answer my question.

What would you like to get for your money?

Please answer my question.

What would you like to get for your money?

I dunno. Maybe food tables brimming with goodies along the way. Lekker prizegiving party at the finish. Nothing spectacular. Does that answer your question?

Basically the same as with the 36One and other races  - a fleece top or some kind of clothing, some bottles, some energy stuff, dinner at registration and a burger at the finish.

Then, as Patch has said - you get to ride from Windhoek, through the desert, and finish on the beach in Swakop.

Doing 369 (or 372km according to my GPS) in 24 hours with other like-minded crazy people, is something special, and if you haven't finished a solo yet, you cannot really knock it, or try to rationalize the cost...

And you get all that! But for the solos you have to bring your own food from 180km onwards!

I certainly didn't knock anything. It was a legitimate question. Certainly not a question that is answered on the website in any way.

At least a 'goodiebag" full of plastic, sweets, pamphlets and other crap that you don't need?
