Ja ha ha ha.. a spanking indeed.

From what I read it was a tough stage ..quite hilly and the pace was on. He said he wasn't feeling great but then there was a bit of a shower and that helped him..

It's 1417W, for 5sec peak... 1220w was his Ave power for the duration of the 18sec sprint.

That tweet copy didn't read very well sorry about that

That is amazing for a roadie...The 18sec power looks more like track type power.

Anyone else think Sagan was a little insulting to the rest of the peloton with his little hula dance? I mean the second place guy gave his all and to then see old Sagan basically freewheeling over the finish must have stung, but that dance of his would have pushed me over the top in terms of aggro.

I loved it, but then I don't have to ride anywhere near him.

With so much time on his hands suppose he felt it a good time to dance.

Victory signs or gestures has to be earned.

It's a hard earned right.

From lifting your bike like PhilGil or hula hula moves.

Arrogant. Nope.

Proud and happy. Yebo.

Nope, he seems well liked and respected in the peloton.

Admit my initial feeling was also a teensy weensy bit negative. But as Pacth mentioned he is well liked and that includes me so ... Thought that Hoola act looked great. They all trying to come up with new repertoires for crossing the line all the time and who else to lead the bunch on a South Sea Island style ceremony. This one looked damn good.
