(Possible) Rider Down - Camps Bay

Hope someone with more info replies here with good news...

 

Smashed up Specialized carbon road bike lying in left lane just below top of Kloof Nek.  Did a u-turn to pull over and look for the rider but another motorist arrived from Camps Bay side to say there'd been an incident there and the bike was dragged under a vehicle to point where we were standing before becoming dislodged.  That's more than a km or two - hopefully not attempted hit and run.

 

Relieved we didn't find a body in the bushes, but still sounds like someone may have been hit.

Rider has been found. Alive, minor head injury, being sorted at a mediclinic That is all we know for now. Will post more details when they are pertinent.

Well I hope they charge the driver for attempted murder. Dragging a bicycle under you car for almost one kilometer is way beyond an accident.
