I have to do a full medical once a year at work. We have this lung test where we have to blow through a machine. The smokers always struggle. I ace the test but its a tough stupid little test that leaves you huffing from 15 seconds of work. This was like doing that test.........

Hahaha i do that same test for my aviation medical. Its not a lekker test.

Also in aviation so we probably do a similar medical. LOL when they do yours, do you also look at a screen with candles that you have to blow out? When I did mine this year there is no longer candles and you just watch your graph as you inhale and exhale. Was doing it with a colleague that is a smoker and also almost at retirement age. For the lung test I kept jabbing him in the ribs, He had to redo it a few times. Hearing test the guy was focusing so hard his eyes were closed so I was making the beeping noises and he was pushing the button like crazy. Eventually I got told I need to do my tests alone

This sucks. How many times have you tried calling the guy? Sending messages is one thing but a phone call is usually a bit better at showing your unease.

I hate that lung function test, keep blowing but nothing left to blow.

 

Never had the candles, always had the graph test since I started doing it in 2003

Didnt want to start a new topic....

We received this in the letter box the other day. I immediately knew it was a scam because my account is not in arrears and it was not in an envelope.

Anyway just made sure at the municpal office, they are aware of this scam. Apparently the guys come around and demand the money.
