So will this be day one of Sagan in the breakaway?

Been thinking, something that others have probably thunk of already...

Would Sagan consider going the GC route at some stage after his 30th birthday, or just stick to what he is good at and dominate Sprinters Jerseys and pick up Classics/ One Day Races/ World Championships?

Is it possible to know whether he would be able to compete in GC if he drops the required kilograms?

Is there any benefit for him to try and do that? He already has such a huge presence, he doesn't need more publicity to make a decent living.

They have asked him.. he said no not something he wants to do, he enjoys the type of riding he does now ..and honestly i don't want to see him go that way.

if there were no real climbs today, I'd say this break would shake things up a bit... but there are climbs, but they'll take a bit of catching i think

and on a day like today, we have analytics on the TV screens in the office, not TdF. #FML

A few there will be after the stage win but most sent up the road for support for their leaders later on in the stage.

Sky seem a little too interested today!

No just the normal sky train we have seen for the last 6 years...

I think Froome will go for it on the last climb to get an early lead in the tour and to put pressure on his competition. He always likes to get an early lead.

But I guess 10 or more other riders will be thinking that way.
