Gravel bike category both the 70KM and 40KM

Please bear in mind that there are some technical sections on the 70KM that you might have to portage on a gravel bike

 

40KM:

Online Entry Fee: R140

Late Entry Fee: R180

 

10KM:

Online Entry Fee: R60

Late Entry Fee: R80

 

3KM: - Only late entries and entries free Route description: Very fast, mixture of jeep and single track.

Start time/s: 70KM: 07:30

40KM: 07:45

10KM: 08:00

4KM: 08:05 Registration 12 Jan 2018 @ Venue - 1pm - 4pm

14 Jan 2017 @ Venue - 6am - 7:30am Licenses applicable: No Other: Late entries available on the day

Always a good and well run event. I'll pay the penalty fee and do a late entry, no telling what the weather will pan out to be.

What do you guys think... would there be interest for a Gravel bike category? totally independent of the rest of the race, subject to specific rules and regulations? I think the terrain would be perfect for a Gravel bike.
