Hi Guys,

I'm looking to replace my full finger mtb gloves and was wondering what the experts on the Hub have to say. My previous pair were Ryders and I trashed them within six months. Looking for something suitable for XC and some trails.

What say you?

LG Evolution. About R250 and very well ventilated. Totally not ideal for winter riding.

I currently use the 661 RAJI. I've had them for 10 months and they have about a month or 3 left in them. Some of the stitching is coming loose and the screenprinted logo on the top of the glove started coming off within a month so I peeled it off so it doesn't look completely ***. Taking into account that a I hear they are close to R400 locally(not sure....bought mine overseas) and I'd say stay away! Another downside is that they don't have a velcro strap....just an elastic. Just makes it harder to get them on and off.

Fox SA is FINALLY importing the Fox Incline glove again after not doing so for a few years. I had them before the RAJIs and they lasted at least 3 years. They still had some miles left in them when I forgot them in a restaurant overseas after post-ride bevvies. Went back the next morning and the cleaners had thrown them out cos they looked old and they figured i didn't want them anymore.

I prefer them cos, like the RAJI, they have no pads on top of the glove. I find it much more comfortable than padded gloves.

They're at Due South for about R200....I'll be picking up a pair soon!

No. Linden. They are actually very nice for the road aswell (if you use gloves on the road.

A bit on/off topic. By asking "what gloves?" should the answer not be "cycling gloves" and by asking "which gloves?" the answer is more specific?

Just asking as I am Afrikaans and the Inglish langweege dus not olways makes cents.

Have to agree with Amoryn, I've had my Fox gloves for a good year or so & after a wash they look brand new.
