I am not sure what Yates was doing, repeats attacks to avoid the movistar double attacks or having nairo alone, repeat attacks to avoid other attacks?.. nairo will attack once during this vuelta.. it could've been that 50m burst before the finish line the other day..

Lopez though.. good job and great win by Pinot.

He’s taking too many risks as week 3 separates the contenders from the podium top 3.

Let’s see.

I did not see stage but I do think he is testing mostly and potentially very cautious to burn matches like he did in the Giro.

The TT will be interesting as its a case of the useless taking on the more useless..????

On a normal day I think Valverde might end up in Red after the TT...who else is marginally less useless??Kruiswijk? Pinot?

I'm sorry but Nairo is good for **** all

He has won 2 Grand Tours

????????

What I like about Nairo is that he rides to win races not try to please fans

That's not his job

What is tricky about Nairo is that the is impossible to read. He may be suffering and not show it.

He's riding a good race as he needs to save legs for the drama that'll unfold in week 3

It's gonna be quite a race to Milan ????????????

There's no doubt about it, Nairo can ride when he wants to and has done so in the past. He won the T de F stage just up the road from us a month ago don't forget.

Having said that . . . . if he races from tomorrow onwards, all the way to Milan whilst everyone else races to Madrid, well.....

Pinot, Kruiswijk, Valverde all pretty handy at the TT.

Lopez not so much.

Hard to tell with Nairo and Yates..sometimes they're okay and sometimes not so much.

I feel for poor Nairo... It's not like he has hyped himself up - the media's done a good job of that, and often he's flattered to deceive, leaving us thinking he's quite k@k.
