Movistar really laid it out today but it blew up in their face. Valverde holds onto second place but he's now 1:38 behind Yates, who looks much more likely to ride into Madrid with the red jersey on his back

Kruijswijk is one of the major winners today. After suffering on Wednesday, he has vaulted back onto the podium with a 17-second gap to Mas in fourth place.

I didn't watch the stage.. but by the result there must have been a lot of action

Is was very fast for the first 100km and then fast up the climb.

Movistar tried to crush the opposition all day but it didn't work - Yates had everything very much under control.

Now to do it all again tomorrow

I hope I do not jinx him but I cannot see Yates losing it from here. Based on the spring in his step and the body language shown during the prize giving ceremony he still has a lot to give.

Unlikely that he will lose the lead, but tomorrow is a very difficult stage..

At this stage im not even shouting for Yates but for that team. Theyve been close on a few other occasions. I really hope this pans out for an awesome team.
