The Crave replaced the Carve.

The Rockhopper range has now expanded to replace the Crave and they have introduced the Chisel, which has basically replaced the Higher end Craves and lower end alloy Epic Hardtails (which replaced the Stumpjumper Hardtail).

Boredom or Serious?

Bit of both. Was bored and went browsing through Classifieds and saw a Carve advertised but it said Crave on the toptube, then I started wodering if it is just a typo or whether both bikes exist.

The names are just a bit to close to each other, so it is easy to make the mistake as an advertiser.

Why have two different bikes with virtually the same name, yet different?

It is as if they want to confuse us.

The name is done by a stencil, and by doing this they were able to change the name by just modifying the stencil slightly. That saved a significant amount of money, which will obviously be passed onto the consumer in the long run.

It's also not just a one off.

the Stumpjumper is going to become the

Ms Jump Erupt (WSD)

The Rockhopper will be replaced by the

Pork Chopper

On the road side of things, Mike Sinyard's move to a paleo diet is getting recognition as they replace the Diverge with the

Ride VEG
