Rudi Pollard Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Having recently bought a garmin Varia radar light, I was getting a bit frustrated with the seat post mount they provide. The plastic they use is quite soft which meant the screw pulled right through making the thing useless.We started looking for alternate ways to mount the light and decided to make a bracket which fits the specialized saddle swat holes as per the photos. It came out very neat and is super light and strong. The light is out of your way, and more visible to approaching motorists.If anyone is interested in these mounts please let me know.Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Will you require the garmin mount as well? We took the mounts out of the varia bracket and just screwed them on here which cuts the cost.

Long Wheel Base Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Looks good. I haven't had issues with my mount but would you consider making for other non swat saddles? I always used to have a spare tube taped to my seat post but now with the varia there is no space on my commuter.
