  1. I have this Delonghi EC850M I'm looking to sell. Would any of you aficionado's on here possibly be interested or alternatively be able to point me to a suitable forum that might be more appropriate?
  2. Assuming you are using Ant+ with a USB dongle... I place the dongle as close to the rear of the Kickr as possible - either just behind or hang it off my rear brake caliper using a USB extension cable - this solved a lot of the drop issues I was having at the time
  3. Hi, I am looking for an XT SPD pedal axle - the thread on the end of mine has gone & the locknut keeps on tightening up the pedal when I ride - anyone perhaps have an old one lying around? - happy to pay for it.
  4. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/sram-pc-x01-eagle-chain Another for this please.....
  5. Side note........I converted my Camber's pressfit BB to one of those where the two cups thread together (Wheels MFG brand) never given me a second's trouble & would be my first upgrade if I am even unlucky enough to buy a bike with a PF BB again
  6. Sounds to me like you went too hard on your weekend rides. FTP is a great metric for stationary/ indoor bike training, but when outside, you also need to take your weight into account - hence people refer to W/kg values (FTP/ weight) - if your partner has a significantly higher W/kg value, they are going to make you hurt on even the slightest of inclines. Slow down on the hillclimbs & speed up on the flats and you will go much further on the bike. Pushing even moderately hard on the climbs will quickly take you into an energy deficit that you will struggle to recover from - especially if you aren't fully fit and eating properly - save the high intensity work for the short indoor sessions and (short) races.
  7. Just a shoutout to the person above who, despite not knowing me from a bar of soap went out of his way to assist with sourcing the items I required and putting me in contact with the shop in question. Mr Wettas, you Sir are a true gentleman & I definitely owe you a beer or two next time I am down that way!!
  8. Here's hoping Sidi appoint a new SA distributor soon...........
  9. Hey Cycles United - thanks very much. I am looking for the yellow sole replacement inserts - size 45 shoe. Cheers James
  10. Sent you a message Wettas - much appreciated!!
  11. At the risk of beating a dead donkey with a stick....does anyone know if ASG sports are still open for business? Been trying to source a set of replacement sole inserts for my Sidi Dragons from them for nearly a year now. I have repeatedly emailed all the usual perpetrators, but barring a promise to check up and revert back to me about 6 months ago, the silence has sadly been somewhat deafening & as of late their online store seems a little bit low on product. Any other means of sourcing Sidi spares in SA?, or do I have to go through the whole overseas sourcing and SAPO lottery delivery system....
  12. https://www.cyclingstuff.co.za/shop/taya-12-speed-eagle-chain-ti-gold-126-links/ Thank you!
  13. % of FTP instead of watts is due to the format of file you are importing from TP into Rouvy. Been a while since I used that combination, but I recall there being two different file options & the one displayed as % of FTP & the other in Watts.
  14. To elaborate a bit here - the Wheels MFG solution we are all advocating is the one where the two shells are threaded together to form a properly aligned & secure in the frame BB. No need to skim the shell or anything of that nature. Best decision I ever made to fit one.
  15. Wheels Manufacturing FTW - sourced mine from CWC & haven't looked back
  16. I thought the speed sensor working in conjunction with the GPS? - i.e. when in a forest section where GPS is sketchy, the sensor provides the data - almost like a backup...…possible? I have also seen my distances to be a bit longer than mates without the sensors (all 520's) & always put it down to the above
  17. R200 admin fee aside, my CRC/ Skynet free shipping experience of late was pretty decent. Delivery took slightly longer due to the truck looting/ burning at Mooi River & the package was re-routed via airfreight. I did not find the service any different, (in fact it was probably slightly better) than previous transactions via DHL
  18. +1 for some sort of lack of cable slack under suspension load, sounds like the cable is getting hung up somewhere. Also look at possibly damaged cable outer? I ran SRAM chains on my 9-46 E13 with no issues, so would tend to discount that. What RD are you running - long cage?
  19. I had mine removed - mainly as it was really tender when pressure was placed upon it. To be honest, it did not make much difference to the pressure pain & I ended up with quite a big "bump" of bone. You also have to go through the whole theatre & anesthetic thing again which is a bit of a PITA. I have since managed to add another one to my other clavicle & have no intentions of removing this one.
