Here, but it could be incorrect. Someone said he got the info from Spaz, but I can't verify it.

Yeah. I think this should be taken with a grain of salt.

The Camber also has the 650B version and I don't see Spez associating the Epic name with small wheels. Unless they decide to completely drop 650B wheels altogether for the Camber.

I agree. BS filter was faulty... should have verified.

The question seems too broad, but for what its worth I bought a Camber a few months ago and I've been loving it ever since. Its been the best bike purchase I made.

I had the option of going for a 2018 Silverback Sido 1 or 2017 Scott Spark 940.

Pulled the trigger on the Scott and love it. The 2017 Spark 940 is better spec'd than the 2018 Spark 950 and cheaper.

What, on the new scott? Which problems were those?

Or are you referring to the older model, where improperly fitted and ungreased from the factory pivot bearings placed additional stresses on the chainstay?

fixed . That why I said I hope they fixed the problems they had... unaware of any problems on the new scotts. Which doesn't mean they don't have any either - all brands seem to have issues even crackenfail... :whistling:

Read similar storie on other forums as well - apparently the Camber gets dropped, and there is a new Stumpie on the way and the long travel/evo thing is making a come back. Release date is within the next few weeks, probably coinciding with Sea otter classic.

*A lot of apparentlies and probablies.

Interesting. Let's see how it plays out.

Would be a shame though if they drop the Camber, as it's been a staple in the Spez lineup for years.

Camber because of SWAT, but then you have to get the carbon model, which I'm not sure you can for R40k new (?).

Scott geometry looks very current, but those fiddly lockout levers and kraainess of cables all over the bars...acquired taste perhaps. Could help channel your inner N1no?
