How much is the name worth of the price of A KTM MTb?

In terms of mountain bikes the name is worth nothing to me, motorbikes is a different story though.

I have always found their mtb's to be stupidly overpriced.

Im sure they have fantastic mountain bikes.

The brand has a history so Im sure that they wont put their name behind crap.

That said...

KTM mountain bikes dont make me jags like a Santa Cruz or a Yeti .....

Good bikes, you won't go wrong. But value for money is not really there - poorly specced for the price, in the same price class as Santa Cruz and Yeti, but unlike Yeti and Santa Cruz they do not generally speaking have that "premium bike" status.

 

Only my opinion though...

 

That said, the bikes are quality and since Cycle Lab has taken over SA distributorship you should not have after sales / support issues.

As far as there mtb bikes go, I do like them,just feel they overpriced. And resale is non existent .
