Edereese Posted September 8, 2020 Share Good day hubbers, just thought I would post an update on my experience.Placed order on the 2nd of September, chose priority option (4-6 working days). Item has just arrived at Skynet hub and ready to be dispatched. R200 admin fee for jumping through all the customs hoops, according to shipping information, I should have item before Thursday, by the looks of things, it will arrive tomorrow I think the service has improved. My experience on multiple orders is that its always hit and miss with skynet. probably a 50/50 split. Maybe 60/40 in favour of misses. Sometimes they get it right, others times not. They do mention that they will only start the customs process once the funds reflect on their side. I think maybe instant payment would speed up the process. There was a mix up and I ordered something via the normal shipping and a duplicate via the express shipping (cancellation was not processed for some reason. So not so much of success on this point). Ironically, the normal shipping option arrived before the express option (but only by like 2 hours). On that point, I have a brand-new, unopened Park Tool Derailleur Hanger Alignment Gauge available for sale. Probably be cheaper to sell it here than to ship it back for the refund... I have not ordered a bike so I can't help on that point. No, the quoted price only includes shipping. Duty, VAT and handling fees are paid separately.
