Lyne dropper lever

So I had a little lie down today. I'm drugged up with pain killers and Voltaren, sadly my baby has a few bangs. I need to investigate but something is definitely catching, guessing the brakes but I managed to bend the lever for the Lyne dropper. It works still, just catching on the brake shifter but can i just brute force try and straighten it?

If it breaks we'll hook you up with a new lever body.

We are in the process of redesigning our lever, sneak peak attached.

I'm in the market for a dropper post, when do you guys anticipate this new lever will become available? Just want to figure out if I should hold back on my order for a short while.

Looks like a great new design.

Just one thought, if you can tighten up the lever a little bit over the current/previous lever. I used it with another brand of post and it worked really well (ergonomically), just felt a bit wobbly on the pivot.

Functionally your lever is great, the position is great, ergonomics is sweet & quality materials. Just the movement on the pivot, even if it made your lever R50 more expensive.....

Hi

Its still going to be a while until this is released, probably 2 months minimum. We will make our best efforts to keep the cost down though so it shouldn't be too expensive to add on at a later stage.

Hi

Thanks for the feedback. The new design uses a small ball bearing on the pivot to eliminate wobble, our prototypes so far feel super smooth and stable because of that.

That is an excellent upgrade. Might just end up being the best lever option on the market....

That looks very nice. Do you still have stock of the Giant compatible levers?

Take two allen keys (i think it's a 2 or 3mm) and slightly tighten up the little pivot bolt - I've done this on both my bikes and it did not add any extra friction to the action, but eliminated the play on the lever.  Tighten up quarter turn at a time and check for friction and play.
