Bos Posted June 8, 2018 Share Lets see how strong the cold front is that's coming ....I don't want to Jinx it but It hardly rains in the Worcester. I now live here(my house in the background of the poster)Seriously it might rain against the back mountains and it does get cold but this place repels water. So bring warm kit. a pair of arm-warmers is not going to cut it. Beautiful route though with a couple of steep little climbs which will hurt later on in the race. I might do the 35km but I've ridden about 260km this whole year so far so I'm not even considering further. Rouxenator and T-Bag68

Skubarra Posted June 11, 2018 Share anyone know how much single track is involved? I know there are trails behind the casino which I'm sure we will ride on. For the rest I have no idea, I don't really expect lots of singletrack - they are not advertising the race as having tons of singletrack which is what organisers usually would do if they have it & want to attract people. One or two short stretches of dirt or tar road to link The last 6-7km is mostly singletrack. Its not Jonkershoek but a really nice diverse route that should handle rain better than most. I think really worth the drive. Have I mentioned layer up! Skubarra and Rouxenator
Ferro Posted June 15, 2018 Share All set for tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Has the event been effected at all by the rain/storm of the last couple of days?
Zorro5614 Posted June 15, 2018 Share Should be muddy behind the casino. I live about 4km from the casino and we had about 50mm of rain between yesterday morning and today
