  • 2 weeks later...

I have two buddies that are already entered for this, considering joining in even though I just started riding two weeks ago. Did a 12km ride with 265m elevation gain yesterday and feeling 100% today, so maybe I should attempt it?

Any idea on how rough the gradients are?

Hi TyronLab

This race lives up to its name as being fast!! the 60km has about 300m elevation gain so i would go ahead and join your friends.

60 or 70?

sorry i was wrong, the route i was looking at was from 2015 when the king of the mountain climb was still on the route, for the 2018 Summer Fast One the elevation difference on the 70km was 101m   and the 40km was 71m

So the scale of the elevation profile is pretty much 1:1 on the screen.
