Left seal blown on new rockshox revelation

Hi guys

 

I just recently got a new fork for my hardtail a few days ago. Then during a ride the left seal popped out and my fork lost all pressure.

Any ideas what might of caused this and how to fix it?

Take it back to where you bought it as you said it is new, should be sorted under warranty

Had similar problem with a Reba something to do with air leaking pass something. If it's new send it back I had to buy a complete airspring for the part needed and was quite expensive.

As mentioned take back if new, if bought second hand get it serviced or just do it yourself. I got my dual air reba to hold air after it popped the wiper as well.

Happened to my Reba yesterday. Definitely an air leak.

Failure of the Air Chamber "o" rings, Maybe perished or lacking lubrication.

Maybe the fork was stored for a long time.

Cold weather does not help either as Oils and Greases don't work as well in cold weather.

Thanks for replies I just ended up taking it back and getting a replacement and its being going good for now
