Financially it makes 100% sense.. no transfer fee [emoji48] his wages won't be too high and if Perin is leaving (apparently his destination could be Roma) then we would have to replace him, this is a financial wise move by management...plus he is Gigi...Would be great if he could just pack Verratti in is suitcase and bring him with.[emoji6]

Absolute last chance for that CL medalĀ

Slightly off topic but on topic. I had not played soccer (football) for over 20 years. Here where I live now they have ā€˜dads footballā€ every Saturday morning. 2 weeks ago I thought Iā€™d join.

Ā

Holy smoke...........

Ā

2 halves of 30min on a full pitch. I was totally knackered. Went home and slept 4 hours in the afternoon!! Garmin had me at 8km total distance and ave HR at 168bpm for the hour. Thatā€™s over 90% of my cycling HR max!! What a jol. What a realization how bad my overall fitness was. Now, each week getting a little stronger and Iā€™m loving the exercise. Change on motivation from just turning pedals.

AC Milan requested to be excluded from Europa League, for which they qualified, as a result of the recent financial difficulties prior to present owners taking over.

Essentially, UEFA would penalize the club in the current cycle of Financial Audits which was in no part due to the current ownership and yet the current owners would be saddled with the penalty. Therefore, they have volunteered their audit without taking a default penalty and will then be cleared for future FFP rules.

The reason for volunteering their audit is that the new owners were forced to making capital injection of funds due to the poor financial state that the club was in.

And that kind of financial injection is exactly what is frowned upon under FFP rules.

Now Man City are facing scrutiny because they have denied such financial injections into the club.

Very sad to see one of the most iconic clubs in Europe in this state.. let's hope this is the beginning of the rebirth of Milan.

Sjoe.. Juve have been busy this week

Ā

Ā

Rabiot for free., apparently announcement pending.

Ā

Spinazzolo [emoji664] L Pellegrini + 10mil (apparently that 10m balances the books and would mean Cancelo stays[emoji1696]) - players scheduled for medicals today.

Ā

Buffon for free as second keeper and a "small" salary)

Ā

De ligt announcement apparently on 1/7.

Ā

But until official announcements are made it is just talk, well besides the swap deal.

Well we can add the Rabiot talk to solid as he has arrived in Turin for his medical tomorrow as Juve have confirmed this bit.

This definitely smells like ā€œProject UEFA Champions League 2020ā€

Now for Sarri to get this machine to bond and produce the results...

Good luck to The Old Lady.... (The recent investments surely indicate one thing only!)
