Strong reports that Emery will be let go today apparently he is to have a meeting with the board this morning

If not today it will be soon, time has run out. Keeping him any longer means risking 2020/1 season and the following champions league season again.

Its not to say managers are the only cause for non performance but Wenger was effectively fired for arguably better results.

Think we going to see a flurry between now and new years day. At both ends of the league. If Saints out of relegation zone come xmas day ralph will be gone I reckon. He has scored no more points than Hughes did in the equivalent period a year ago. If Saints win (they better) tomorrow watford will fire their 2nd manager of the season I reckon. West ham apparently talking to moyes already, as are everton if the papers are to be believed.

Just read an article of emery stats, he has the 3rd best win record of arsenal managers who have managed more than 20 games...his win ratio is 55% . That's astounding considering their lowly position (for them)

Fans are unhappy, very.

Yeah and it seems Freddie will be interim coach. While I think Freddie will be a great success one day, I mean look what he has done with our youth, I fear that the fans might turn on him when things go wrong. Not because he deserves it but because of the legacy of frustrations the fans have had to endure the last decade or so. However he will definitely be granted a lot of leeway by the fans which should see out the season, but Freddie can't be our long term solution, not yet. IF Freddie is the coach next season it will turn the same as King Kenny at Pool and Ole at United.

It's a lot of expectation on a former player (who doesnt have the experience at that coaching level) to rescue a club in difficulty..and unfair as well IMO.

Wonder if he is still as hot as what he used to be[emoji48]

Very entertaining game between Atletico and Barca... beautiful link up play between Suarez and Messi..with Messi finishing it off lovely which gave Barca the win away..which is very good because they have not been great away from home.

Barca are going to have a serious problem when Messi decides to call it a day. Absolutely everything goes through him and everything is created because of him, he was once again was the deciding factor.
