RogM Posted October 6, 2018 Share Hey guys, please help a noob, want to learn to do it myself.. 1) If the chain is in the middle of the cassette, and on the large chainring, the chain rubs against the outside of the derailleur and makes a noise. Otherwise shifting is fine.. which screw do I use to adjust it? 2) I changed the rear wheel, but used the same cassette. The chain now slips on the smallest sprocket, as if it hasn't engaged properly. Which screw do I use to adjust the derailleur slightly outwards? Thanks in advance.. DJR Posted October 6, 2018 Share Hi RogM Park Tools' advice is invaluable. Simply google their site for whatever new job you decide to attempt. They also make extremely good quality and durable tools. Well worth the extra few bucks you'll pay for them. RogM

Hackster Posted October 7, 2018 Share I'm not a great fan of 'bike' tools. You can normally find similar quality for half the price if you go to a 'tool' shop. Not that this has stopped me from overpaying for a number of Park Tools. RogM and DJR

Black Friday @ CWC is coming, so time to make a note of currentpricing, so if there's decent deal on tools...
