Just saw this on the Berg100 Facebook page. Might be an option for those guys and gals who don't have any option but to ride solo in the dodgy areas. Not sure how well the bracket is going to last with the rougher sections on the trails, but looks interesting, and the proceeds go to a good cause.

I have a pepper spray like this bought from china mall. Is it any good or should I get a better spray?

I think as long as the spray is a stream and not a mist you should be fine. I was also told by a local gun shop owner that the spray in the cans tend to go off after a while, so don't keep an old one in the hope that it will work in the case that you need it. Replace it every year or so.

The main thing about this add on FB is the bracket to hold it on the bike.

Yes, both the propellant and the potency of the capsicum deteriorates over time. I'd personally suggest replacing before a year is over depending on the model - like every 10 months or so.

Just use the stuff on someone and see if its off or not, that way you wont waste money unnecessarily...

Take a drive to any intersection and wait for a window washer. Mine was always fresh based on their reactions. Just saying

Or one of these?

As soon as suspicious person(s) is spotted, "approach vigorously "

Same with those extending spring batons, if you've ever used one you'll probably concur that eating glass should be more fun than being hit by one of those lol.

Both of those look affective... Just don't chop your leg off with that machete when you pull it out of the frame...
