Pure Savage Posted November 2, 2018 Share Thanks okes! Just could not believe how heavy the "top of the range" Liv bike is in SA. its a size XS and is heavier than my 54cm cannondale with the one model older Ultegra. Looking at new wheels, bars, stem. Which bike did you get?My wife has a Liv Avail Advanced disc. Its a beautiful bike and she loves it, but weighs more than most XC race bikes. Luckily, she doesn't know this, but I do want to put it on a diet. Wheels would be the best upgrade, but cheap and light road disc wheels aren't that common. Looking at the token C28 on the hub for R17k, they are rather light. Then a carbon bar and new stem should drop the weight to 6.9kg. splat
