PingPong Posted February 8, 2019 Share My question is if your helmet is CPSC certified what makes a 2k helmet better than a 700 Rand CPSC helmet. MrJacques
MrJacques Posted February 8, 2019 Share Exactly... if it's certified it should be ok. I see that the Bell Nomad Mips sells for about R1000. So it's twice the price, but having Mips is an advantage. Edited February 8, 2019 by Jacquers
Jehosefat Posted February 8, 2019 Share My question is if your helmet is CPSC certified what makes a 2k helmet better than a 700 Rand CPSC helmet. Usually lighter and with better ventilation

Dirkitech Posted February 8, 2019 Share I've seen better helmets at cheaper prices from lbs - last purchase was at northcliff cycles and infinitely better than what this one seems like. Not to come off as a hypocrite - I did cycle with a raleigh helmet for a few years after starting out. It looked 95% like this one, just a different colour scheme. It was an awful few helmet years, would never want a raleigh again after experiencing comfort and reliability with a new helmet.
