you'll be pleased to know they also "rediscovered" the album recently

took it on tour in 2017, and would play the album as it should be. from Where the streets have no name to Exit.

Just a follow-up and note of thanks to Shebeen who pointed out the above!

Went to the Brissie U2 Joshua Tree concert last night. Pretty awesome. Slightly let down by a bit of reverb in the stadium acoustics and Bono would not be Bono without a bit of higher ground moralising. But the Joshua Tree part of the concert, with some amazing large screen footage in the background (done by the same guy who did the album photography way back when) was top-notch. Very tight and polished performances, as the movies are timed to be the exact length of the song, and they were synched pretty well to me as a layperson (I can't be a layman because of lessons learnt from aforementioned moralising).

Good night out. And with my office and car parking being a block away, was out the stadium queue and back home in 30 minutes.

as much as I hate to admit it, but you have a point. he struggles with the older thrash song vocals. case in point, the Puppets song I posted of 1989.

As much as I enjoyed their tour in 2006, JH's vocals are getting worse with every live performance, to the point of butchering their songs along with Lars.
