Finally found an absolutely pristine Linn Sondek LP12 with Ittok LVii arm. High end equipment from the 70s are getting so hard to come by these days.

That's beautiful. All my records have been sitting in storage in a garage for the past 2 years. I sincerely hope they have been cool though that they are not warped and damaged

I had the absolute pleasure of watching her live last year. Nothing will compare again

Wow, I've never heard of Nathalie Merchant before (the Hub keeps giving..) and a quick look at a You Tube link makes we want to find out more.

If the two new singles are anything to go by the new Rammstein album is going to be pretty good!

Recently got into Zombies ate my girlfriend. A South African metal band that are actually doing pretty well on the international scene. Check out the album Retrocide.

I stream about 20hours a week from Spotify. Threw all my CDs away about 3 years ago. I do have a pretty decent vinyl collection. Some albums you just need on physical format.

Indeed. My buddy had a vinyl copy of Master of Puppets. One afternoon around 1994 he pissed off his dad once too often and he proceeded to smash the vinyl. I think he might still have the sleeve. Still one of Metallica's best albums, along with ...And Justice for All.

My top 10:

1. Master of Puppets - Metallica

2. And Justice for All - Metallica

3. Human Clay - Creed

4. Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits

5. Live in Texas - Linkin Park

6. Rearview Mirror - Pearl Jam

7. Fragile - Saron Gas (this is before they went to the States and changed their name to Seether)

8. The Battle of Los Angeles - Rage Against the Machine

9. Surpass the Powers - Springbok Nude Girls

10. Reise Reise - Rammstein

Vasily Petrenko conducting royal liverpool orchestra. Shostakovich symphony 8. FLAC Hi res download from eclassical.com

An artist who made sardonic and ironic musical statements about war, love, power and fascism and risked Stalin's ire and the gulag for his art.
