Cyclemeter says it can auto transfer to strava, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cyclemeter-gps-cycling-running-mountain-biking/id330595774?mt=8

So you could automatic upload your garmin and cyclemeter data to strava and have all your info and workout stored there

BUT, what is the process to upload historic data to Strava ?

Sure is not that easy old Garmin and Polar data.  The only work-around I have heard of is a paid app, none of the other methods I have tried can upload 2 years worth of data to Strava ....

LESSON - any newby not sure of where their cycling is going, upload to Strava from day one, even if you use full privacy settings, just get your data there from the start .... real pain to try and do it later ....

As mentioned earlier https://tapiriik.com/# for garmin, for polar and cyclemeter upload all the activities to dropbox (probably via a file explorer), then tapiriik to strava is what I would consider doing.

Use the free version of tapirrik, you just manual transfer which queues the data transfer and leave it a couple of hours as it will transfer when it gets to your request in the queue.  Once you have transferred all you old data then you can just autosync new workout data to strava

Thank you.

Will give this a try for the historic data.

The new data is already auto-syncing.

Had the same issue yesterday. You need to go the the bluetooth app settings & 'clear data'. Go back to garmin connect & link the unit. There is a you tube clip that takes you through step by step instructions if you cant find the actual app settings

Resurrecting an old thread.

On Garmin connect web, if I go into an activity, the map now shows a heatmap. I cant seem to find a place to turn off the hear map overlay. Even if I choose, Hear Rate/Speed etc. as an overlay it still shows the heatmap.

Any ideas how to turn this off ?

tried that, doesnt work.

Also seems to be overlaying tiles.

And then it dawned on me. I have a statshunters plug-in installed on this browser. Change the setting and its now sorted.

Was about to say that it looks like statshunters tiles, but self-diagnosis wins.
