Was thinking about you when I was cycling today and almost blowing a valve going up one hill. I have massive respect for your work rate on those hills and am nowhere near ever riding an Everest myself. Well done.

I have a couple of questions, with no other reason than being nosy? Please feel free not to answer any but would be interested to know.

What are you aiming to achieve with these multiple Everest’s? Is there some kind of record you are going for?

How much have you raised so far for the old age homes? Have you a goal?

Do you have sponsorship from any local bike shops or supplement suppliers?

Do you find the long rides getting easier or harder as you get older?

Sorry about all the questions.

I said that I would like to Raise R100 000 for the year. the Charity / Funding page that I started has Not yet received any Donations.

Donations have Only come from the HUB contacts, Facebook and a large portion from me standing on my off time at the local Shop.

Hubber Cash Donation =1400

NIGHT Raffle Total =1600

North Raffle Still =6300

R9360.

NO.

The only Shop / Person willing to Sponsor me is a Guy, (Abe) who operates at a Market 4 days a week. I gladly support him.

I contacted the Supplement companies, nobody offered a discount or anything.

Easier, I am Much Stronger than I was ten years ago.

To prove that I will better my ARGUS time of 3H01.

I gladly answer your questions.

Thank You

Ouch - it seems like an awful lot of work, without a huge return, apart from the obvious benefits of staying so fit.

What's the long term plan? Do you intend to keep doing what you do to raise this cash or have you a plan b? From an outsiders perspective, there must be easier ways to raise money, or is this what you love and the fundraising is a good reason to get out there and do it? You must be fortunate that you can get the time off work to spend in the saddle.

It appears to be harder and harder to raise funds in SA, due to so many causes that need so much help. I suppose that bike shops etc are probably inundated with requests for help.

Sorry, just thinking, don't really have any suggestions or anything. Good luck.
