How often do you guys re-air yours? And at what Psi?

My 170mm Xl is 5 months old now and it has been reluctant to fully extend after a drop. Checking the pressure I saw it was quite low and needed a refill. Ramped it back up to 250 ish  and it works as expected again...although it still is not the smoothest dropper on earth...

Get some Brunox duo, or just have a look at their video and clean out the inside and apply some grease like slick honey or sram butter nothing thick like red rubber

I've only done once and if i recall correctly around 280psi.

Perhaps contact Lyne Components, owned and own a few they've all been smooth and flawless. They'll be happy to check it out and advise if/where the issue is

I had the same issue with my last one - the air cartridge was replaced under warranty. I just dropped by there - Dayle inspected and replaced on the spot. I would just give him a call and hear what he has to say, it's either that or it just needs a service, which is quite simple to do at home.

Just an update on this. I contacted Dayle about this yesterday and he assured me that this was not normal and offered to replace the whole cartridge assembly under warranty. Took the whole bike in first thing this morning and Ruan had me sorted with new internals, install etc all before 11:30.

it feels even better than new now....also ALOT smoother.

EXCELLENT service.

Thanks Lyne Components

PS: you guys should see some of the nice prototype stuff they are about to start testing out, I'll leave it to them to decide to start teasing or not.

I have been toying with the idea of spoiling myself with a Lyne dropper. Based on all the positive feedback from people about Lyne in general, I may just do so now.

The quality look/feel/finish of the product definitely makes it seem alot more expensive then it actually is. As already mentioned, i'm even happier with mine's feel now after the cartridge was taken care of. it doesn't look cheep and nasty like some of the other ones in its price range. Well it doesn't for 1 second detract from any of the other 'high end' bits on my bike for what its worth.
