For example I would rather ride a tricked out Titan than enty level Spez. Don't throw away brands like Silverblack, Momsen and Merida good bang for your buck bikes.At the end of the day get the bike that makes you want to go ride.

Experience as in time spent on a saddle and pedalling should give you the best indication of which geometry and price bracket model would suit your needs best of those brands, or others! Frustrating answer perhaps, but the reality is real.

I bought a Scott and now I end up taking it back to a local Specialized store for services etc. I've tried several other shops in my area and no one provided the quality service that they do.There is no "best bike" - so go with the bike that gives you the best experience (not just on the bike)
