LongDonkey Posted June 27, 2019 Share Nope sorry. But their seeding is completely cocked.Indexes of 50 off with elite men, Batch D also has indexes ranging from 35 to 52 (approximately).Anyway, i guess we just go with the flow.

Paulm Posted June 27, 2019 Share Accomodation is plenty in the region, search Airbnb using Dinokeng, Roodeplaat etc. And you can contact me, I run a Bushveldt getaway approx. 16km down the road from Buffelsdrift on a private game farm trevez

Seeding works off a 3 event average, so if you haven't got 3 events you will start further back. It is a way to reward the guys who ride regularly. Seeding also drops slowly over time if you don't race. trevez

What you said is supposed to happen, but it is completely effed for this race.Just a sample of seeding indexes taken off SAS this morning from the batching link.I looked up SAS numbers where they were indicated and put indexes against the batch numbers Check 1 Check 2 Check 3 Check 4 Check 5 Check 6 Batch Elite 49.25 41.5 36 62 100 28.8 A -17 21.787 19.9 42 39.6 46.7 B 26.6 31.6 39.9 41 41 46 C 43 52 43 48.7 D 52 57 56 57.6 38.6 53.
dave303e Posted June 27, 2019 Share woah chill. I literally just pointed out logical facts based on logical assumptions from his reply. In his reply he stated 1st event and 2nd event, so I made the assumption of him having 2 scores for seeding and thus would have no average and cannot be expected to seed in A batch. If you have such an issue with the seeding for this event, contact them directly-https://saseeding.com/contact/

Just i think there are going to be some questions asked of their filters used for batch selection....Still think the outlier of -17 is my favorite. Red Bird Posted June 28, 2019 Share From registration- If you have a full year CSA licence - you start in the Elite Marathon batch. Day licence start A-D....Oh ja... had a struggle trying to get into the Elite Marathon group. I was seeded in Ladies A (even though I have a license) and asked to be put in the EM group. The lady didn’t know about that and thought I wanted to go up to the Ultra. Sorted that out eventually. Now I see they disbanded Ladies A group
TNOSE_E Posted June 28, 2019 Share Confirming the Start is at ARC Roodeplaat and not the buffelsdrift MTB park itself?
