Anyone else been getting emails and SMS from Cyclelab?

Just unsubscribed to Cycle Lab emails.

The unsubscribe link took me to a morecorp.co.za domain - More Corp own the lot of them so I guess one could call them and tell them to stop spamming you with SMS’s

Anyone all of a sudden been spammed by Cyclelab with SMS and emails?

 

I have never signed up for any cycle lab newsletter or handed over my details.

 

Do you think they have just taken the CWC database list of all people they have details for?

 

Thoughts?

Received one in the week, just reported it as spam and unsubscribed. I never put my cellphone number down on any docs, always a landline. On my previous number I used to get spam SMS all the time from diff businesses. Very Very annoying.

But are they members of the direct marketing association?

I don't think they are allowed to send unsolicited marketing?

Yes, I remember something about this a few years ago. Basically it is a law I think.

However, the other day I was in a HITEC store. The salesperson asked me if I want to sign up for their promotions alerts. I asked will I be spammed with sms's, he replied, thats why He has to ask.

Thanks, just wanted to know if it was just me or everyone that was on the CWC mailing list. They must have just started using it for cyclelab stuff as not had one before from them.

Also got emails and sms to some ride in CT and am in Joburg... have unsubscribed!!
