O'Connor seems to be finding his 2018 legs!

Followed online and saw him in the top 3 and when the coverage returned he was gone.

Roggas limited the damage well.

Kuss a steady partner.

Movistar could not deliver a knock-out punch to the team in yellow

Astana will be scratching their heads

Again, the Vuelta. Crazy racing.

Never a dull moment.

Pogačar

The youngest rider in the race, aged 20, wins the stage in his first Grand Tour

Remarkable performance

Our own resident "Secret Pro", Mr Wakefield, did make mention of him in recent days. Happy for the lad!

Great Vuelta thus far. I had the sound off due to family commitments and thought for a couple of minutes the stage was called off due to the sudden thunderstorm, so no clue what happened to Roggas but he seemed to limit the damage nicely.

That Movistar rider seemed seriously pissed that he had to sacrifice his stage victory to sit up and work for Quintana.

Soler was in a fine position to win

Fantastic domestique who’s been selfless for quite a few seasons

The team could’ve let him fly for a sweet reward

Movistar team strategies remain a riddle ????

If they win the tour by 5s,it would have been worth it. If they lose by minutes, Soler will have a hard time getting over this methinks.

I have no doubt that it was the right call at the time .  For Movistar it is all about the overall GC at this stage and they cannot make compromises as every second counts (like you pointed out).
