PhilipV Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I can't see how a repair like that is a viable long term solution. It may tide you over, but that isn't exactly a low stress area. I reckon you should start searching for a 26er hardtail frame. They go for a dime a dozen, you'll just have to be patient.
Slowbee Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 As I mentioned on pm, I have a 26inch, silverback hardtail, yes it is alu, and yes it is a medium. If you can make it work for you by using longer stems and such like, you can have it for free. Nadda nothing. Mahala.

Ghost has a 5yr Warranty on their Frames ...First bust was right through the pivot point. (This happened with a month left on the warranty)2nd Bust was just above the pivot point. (This happened two years later)3rd ... The crack as i posted today. (This happened after 6 months)
