spano Posted September 20, 2019 Share I recently went to a talk presented by this guy, Jonas Deichmann. Really impressive what he has achieved in the past! His latest record attempt is currently underway with the aim to go from the Nordkap in Norway down to Cape Town in 75 days! I am in no way affiliated with him, just met him once at his talk and thought it would be interesting to share on here. You can follow his progress on social media or on his website. Might even be cool if a group of people would join on the last section of the ride (not sure about the rules etc though...) https://jonasdeichmann.com/ https://www.facebook.com/JonasDeichmannAdventures/ Vetplant and dirtypot

spano Posted September 22, 2019 Share No small feat what they are attempting. Here is an interesting video on the solo Panamerican challenge that he did as well. There are some seriously dodgy roads out there... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChKSzzH7-Rk Gew

Shebeen Posted November 19, 2019 Share Such a pity this guy is not doing Munga. Think he would be a contender for the podium.I think he might be a bit tired. mentally, he would have had his finishing point* in view for the past week or so. once you're done you're done. *which appears to be this http://www.onsplek.org.za/ weird finish line compared to the usual blouberg/cape point.
