Screen replacement on Garmin

As mentioned take it to Garmin,it will cost about R2500 for a refurbished replacement. 

 

I think this number is out the ballpark. They have a flat fee in the range of R1500-R1700 if you do a like for like swap. Upgrade to a better device, and you will pay in a bit more.

 

Its not a negotiation, they have a schedule which sets everything out. You get a brand new device, not a refurbished device. The replacement comes with a 6 month warranty as opposed to the normal warranty.

Scotty was recently quoted that as I understand and I paid that a few weeks ago to replace my 820 ...

Bought mine on Amazon here.  Even bought for my VivoActive as well.  Save the screen two weeks ago when I accidently knocked the watch agains something.

Umm No. Faulty 820 for refurbished 820, 90 days warranty, take it or leave it. No negotiations.
