At 20km to go, the riders have a change of direction, at which point the wind direction will be ideally placed to create chaos. It is not to say it won't happen earlier, but definitely don't miss the final 30km... They are already averaging 49km/h. Soooo Tirreno Adriatico until it finishes then TdF? :-)

Frosty Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 So the biggest "test" for the riders and staff in this year's Tour wasn't on any of the first 9 stages but rather the rest day. So I guess it's seen as a positive that they all tested negative.

Is it just an experience thing that he's consistently out of place in the bunch when the paw-paw hits the fan?
