Edge_Design Posted December 5, 2019 Share I can't post on the ad so just a note that this ad is a scam - https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-mountain-bike-frames/382080/2017-specialized-s-works-enduro The details are taken from an ad in Australia a year ago I have reported it but mentioning it as people will jump at that "deal" Edited December 5, 2019 by Edge_Design

Eugene Posted December 5, 2019 Share I preferred it where you could make a comment on an ad. It would catch the person red handed and we could all see. Dirkitech, porqui, Ramrod and 1 other

In cases like this I have to agree, but users abused it and used it as a place to voice unnecessary personal opinions about ads in which case I like the lack of comments... Unfortunately I guess there is no middle ground solution.

Unfortunately I guess there is no middle ground solution.Although the comments were useful for pointing out an issue like this, we often found that Hubbers would comment on the ad (e.g. if it was a scam) but not report it to us. In this example, the OP reported the ad to us and it was removed within minutes. We have a number of ideas to find a middle ground here, including auto-removing ads for review after X many fraud reports and/or granting proven & willing Hubbers some rights to flag and remove ads for review. Thanks - very impressive how quickly you removed it. Hopefully this post warns anyone who might have already contacted the advertiser.
Gr3mlin131 Posted December 5, 2019 Share @Admin, just check what happens when you now click on the link of the removed add, it just takes you to the classifieds homepage, without an error or add not found message. With the update ongoing might want to consider adding a type of message.
