Hi guys,

I'm looking to start riding, mainly trails, and need to buy a bike. I have a budget around R6,5k. I've come across the Silverback stride delight, Avalanche Reflex 2 and Titan rogue nova as possible options.

Can I please get some advice on what the best purchase would be??

Thanks in advance!!

Between the three I would look at the Titan and Silverback. Both are about the same thing but the Titan looks a tad better spec wise.

Make sure you get your size 100% right.

Happy trails.

Yeah, @Brad01m how tall are you? It impacts the wheel size. Get a sweet used 26er if you're a shorty apparently.

Of your choices I'd go Titan.

26ers are making a huge comeback in the "person of short stature" community

I'm 184 so from what I understand the 29er is the way to go?

Any advice on the Apex A900? Falls way below budget but is the money being saved worth it?

At that height get a large frame. Wheel size doesn't know how tall you are

I'd go for the Titan... They have better resale values than the other brands you mentioned

Get a sweet used 26er above a crappy 29er, no matter how tall or short you are...

I'd also go for the Titan out of those choices.
