Stans announce overhauled MK4 Crest, Arch and Flow rims

I've been running the MK4 crests for about 6 months and they seem to be holding up at the moment. All the sets of MK3 crest rims that I had started to crack on the rear by now.

Not a single instance of a crack at the spoke holes, that I'm aware of, since the Mk4 range was launched.
Safe to say they've solved the problem.

Also, from my perspective, they're one of the only brands who have a healthy rim stock-holding in SA in all 3 versions (Crest, Arch & Flow) in 28 and 32h versions.

I'm busy with an article now explaining their rim range with specs, weights and recommended use cases.

Seriously one of the best alloy rim options on the market right now.

Just an update,my Crest mk4’s have cracked , Submitting a warranty claim through LBS.

The wheel is at the bike shop,

I might be able to the pics from them.

They are thin cracks next to the nipples…

Sounds familiar, have had that with Flows, and AMC wide lightning!

 

Do they look similar to these?

Similar ,but mine is perhaps in the early stages leading up to yours.

According to the LBS,6 cracks all together.
