You will be very lucky to get R5k.  But you can start advertising there and negotiate to probably around R3.5k

Every time I get off my 29er onto my very old and battered 26er I'm always "Sho but this thing handles!". In many ways a 26er is a sweeter bike.

The bike might be more worth more to you....as a a bike!

It's a lot more expensive to replace it at modern day prices...unless, of course, you wont use it??

Be carful of getting it serviced...that might cost you more than what the bike is worth??
