Also contemplating doing this one, maar eish, all this talk of wind, and all the wind we been having in GP the past 2 days, not very inspiring

We cycled to/from SBR on Saturday; lekker time of the year (not too hot, not too cold).
It was windy, but not as windy as last year, and certainly not like the winds of this week.

We are most likely riding there, doing the 50km, and riding back.

For those doing the Meals on wheels race this year, here is some info on this years' race. I am attaching the GPX files for both the 50 and 100 km rides, as well as the route and profiles.

Are these routes from the organiser, or your own?
Last year, the aerials loop is clockwise, and you are showing it as counter-clockwise.

That information is from the event organiser, which I e-mailed for information and it was sent to me. It's also available on the website: N3TC MEALS ON WHEELS 2024 (myactive.co.za) The information is on the left-hand side of the web page.

I received an answer from Spectrum Sport that you can enter on race day, but also, if you enter before the 10th (date of entries closing), they can move your entry to next years event should you not be able to make it on the 13th for whatever reason.

Yes.

scroll back to the maps Jaco shared. It shows the water points as stars 🌟 on the map.

Dusted off the road bike that was in hibernation for 20 months. 

Haven't done a road race since Jan '22
