The Banhoek event is an "open event" .... with schools riders just registering confirming their school ....  Let's see how it goes this weekend.

I literally had no idea the Trailseeker this weekend doubles as a school event - was I just not paying attention or was it badly promoted?

I only know because I am the "school representative" and gets the SCSA messages about these ....

 

 

You should see lots of "school kit" riders on the day.  Even School branded gazebos ...

But its not impossible that somewhere along the line entrants will suddenly realise that the road behind Bainskloof is really boring and by popular demand the route will divert with an exciting loop around Paardeberg 😋

 

Spent the weekend on top of bainskloof. No way that road is ready for a race in two months time, it's a living construction site. Will be impressed if it is done before the end of the year
