BG' date=' you have to cover your knees atleast. When the cold gets to your knees you can get hurt pretty bad.

I got me the Giordana long bibs. It's the one without the padding. Payed just onder R700 @ Westdene.

BG bet you would look good in this :)

Product Overview:

Bold ultra-cool design reminiscent of the 80s. with white stripe detailing at front and on sleeves; front zippered pockets and dual open rear pockets; full front zipper into stand-up collar; lightweight stretch fabric blocks wind and light rain. Besides the original style, this jacket combines Windstopper and Thermolite to help you stay cosy when it's cold and windy. :) If you are skeptical about these things and are around 50Kg's not too large in the frontal area I have an extra jacket that is obviously made for a man hence not being too large in the frontal area which I would be willing to borrow you. It is a size Medium.

Once you have ridden with the thing once you will get saving very quickly.

Etxeondo is the business...

Plus, take into account how much you spend when you get sick? How much time off work you take? Etc...

So that's why a jacket you can wear down to about -5 with just an undervest on underneathe is more than worth it :)

just get yourself Vermarc winter bibs. They ARE good. Been riding in mine again yesterday afternoon and believe me it is snowing outside... (Franshoek/Paarl area) and I was comfortable all the way. and the padding is awesome for those really long rides of 3+ hours.

Best value for money.. Vermarc do the same as those products thats R1000 more expensive just to have a certain "brand"

yip, the leg warmers do work, but there is that bit between the leg warmers and jerseyhttp://qloy.com/smileys/smiley2.gif that only is covered by shorts, hence the need to get winter ones
