Shimano Brake Lever Replacement XT M8100

I am in need to replace my right hand brake lever Shimano XT, but can not find stock here or abroad. ( Left ones - delivery 2-4 days 🙂 ) Right ones on avarage 12-14 weeks delivery time.

Question. I'm thinking of switching brands, such as SRAM or Magura. What models versions should I look at to be on par with XT and will it be compatable to my Shomano callipers?

you can't swap only levers with SRAM and Shimano, they use different brake fluid

Shimano uses mineral oil and SRAM dot fluid.

You could use an SLX lever with your XT caliper. Works like a charm

I'm pretty sure you can use any of the shimano levers with the shimano calipers. The wiser guys on here can confirm. @DieselnDust ?
